青青园中葵，朝露待日晞。
阳春布德泽，万物生光辉。
常恐秋节至，焜黄华叶衰。
百川东到海，何时复西归？
少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲。
Translation:
In the verdant garden stands the sunflower, awaiting the sun's rays at dawn.
Spring blooms its virtue, bestowing radiance upon all things.
Yet I often fear the arrival of autumn, as golden leaves wither and fade.
A hundred rivers flow eastward to the sea, but will they ever return to the west?
The young, if idle and unambitious, will only sorrow in old age.
